The folks at Ford Dealerships In New Mexico know that Ford has had a long and ongoing tradition of support for Feeding America—this country’s largest hunger-relief organization—and a long and ongoing tradition of satisfying customers with the Escape crossover—this country’s best-selling crossover in June. But now, to help introduce the all-new version of the latter to customers, Ford is taking an all-new approach to partnering with the former: The 2013 Ford Escape Hunger Drive is inviting regular folks from across the U.S. to host driving events featuring the new Escape, with the company providing the vehicles, product experts and 40 meals to Feeding America for every guest that attends. According to Ford Dealer In Greensboro NC, the Blue Oval expects to donate more than 1.2 million meals to fight hunger in this country. Also, attendees will get a complimentary Ford backpack and an entry in a sweepstakes contest that will give away a free 2013 Ford Escape.
Car Dealerships In Kansas City told us that past hunger-relief efforts from the automaker include collaborating with the Newman’s Own food company to provide Feeding America with 103 refrigerated Ford trucks, which have been used to deliver more than 176 million meals to families in need in all 50 states.
“We at Feeding America are proud of our longstanding relationship with Ford,” said Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America. “Ford has a history of merging transportation with hunger relief efforts, and we are grateful they are extending that partnership linked to the 2013 Escape to help us get food to millions of families struggling with hunger.”
