Think you have what it takes to be the next Ken Block, Tanner Foust, Brian Deegan or Vaughn Gittin Jr.? If so, Ford—along with that fantastic foursome of extreme motorsports—is ready to put you to the test in the acme of action-sports fantasy camps: The Ford Octane Academy.

According to Greensboro Ford Dealerships, it’s part of a new, high-energy campaign that’s leveraging Ford’s already strong presence in extreme driving events like the X Games, Formula Drift and more. According to Ford, more than 300 action sports competitions like these are held each year around the globe, generating some $12 billion worth of revenue in the U.S. alone and attracting tens of millions of athletes and fans.

“Octane Academy and Ford’s action motorsports program were designed to bring the excitement and access of extreme sports to the heart of this new generation of enthusiasts,” said John Felice, general manager of Ford and Lincoln Marketing.

The Octane Academy will welcome its first students this November, when Deegan kicks off the first of the program’s four sessions, each of which will be hosted in a different location by one of the Ford drivers. Ford KS said they’ll design their own unique boot camp/driving school for extreme motorsports enthusiasts, and run them through a long weekend filled with wild dares and extreme driving maneuvers. Ultimately, the campers will have to prove their mettle on courses designed personally by the racers to highlight their own favorite brand of motorsports mayhem.

Deegan will have competitors digging the limits of the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor; the Block party will emphasize precision Gymkhana driving in a Ford Fiesta; Foust will look for fast in the Ford Focus; and the Gittin gang will experience the thrills of high-speed drifting in a Ford Mustang.

The top prize? Overall winners at each Octane Academy camp will take home a one-of-a-kind Ford vehicle developed by their camp’s host specifically for the program.

And if that sounds like your idea of a good time, you’re not alone. Houston Ford Dealers like it, too.

“Getting the chance to create my own challenges for the hardcore competitors who want to take on the challenge of Ford Octane Academy is going to be crazy,” said Deegan. “I can’t wait to bring the competitors to my spot, The Compound, to give them the ultimate Ford action sports adventure.”
