Ford Shows Off Tech at 2010 CES

Each year, the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas home to the latest and greatest in electronics and technology. That’s why keynote addresses have often been given by Bill Gates and other notable technology figures. However this year one of the keynote addressees will be delivered by Ford CEO Alan Mulally.

Ford has quickly become an innovator when it comes to technology in the automotive industry. In addition to offering new technologies for safety and fuel efficiency, one of Ford’s most renowned tech goodies is the Sync infotainment system, which gives drivers hands-free controls of numerous systems and portable devices.

Aside from kicking off the show, Ford will have plenty to show-off within the exhibit hall. The 2010 Ford Taurus is the official car of the show and numerous technologies will be highlighted such as Multi-Contour Seats with Active Motion, voice-activated navigation, MyKey, and of course the aforementioned Sync system.
