The newly redesigned 2011 Ford Mustang combines both muscle and sportiness enough to make your mouth water. The best part is the 2011 Mustang is quite an affordable option, so affordable that almost anyone can get their hands on one.
How so? Well obviously there is the GT Premium, a V8 beast of an engine that will cost you about $34,000; but for those who don’t want or need the V8, there is also a base Mustang that comes with a V6 engine starting at the very reasonable price of $22,000.
The base entry-level Mustang has a 3.7L Ti-VCT V-6 engine, 305 horsepower, 280 lb.–ft. of torque, and can get you 19 MPG city and 31 MPG highway. From there, the Mustang comes in a V6 Premium, a V6 Convertible, a V6 Premium Convertible, a GT, a GT Premium, a GT Convertible, a GT Premium Convertible, and of course, the Shelby GT500 and the Shelby GT500 Convertible.
As you step up to the 2011 GT, expect to find a 5.0L Ti-VCT V-8 engine that puts out just over 400 HP! With 377 lb-ft of torque and 18 MPG city / 25 MPG highway, the 5.0L GT is flat out fun to drive and quite possibly the most fuel-efficient Mustang ever. Did we forget to mention that the Shelby GT500 comes standard with a 5.4L supercharged 4-V V8 engine? Enjoy!
Taking a look at the inside, the Mustang is nothing short of stylish! Ambient interior lighting gives the Mustang some pizzazz and the MyKey control system comes standard on all Mustang models. MyKey is the perfect way to allow the owner to control driving restrictions for others who drive the car. That’s not all you can do! Owners are able to put limits on the top speed, audio volume, and will add warning alerts at pre-selected speeds. MyKey also encourages smart driving behavior. It will mute the volume until safety belts are buckled in, warns the driver when fuel is getting low, and prevents the shutoff of key accent-avoidance features such as AdvanceTrac® Electronic Stability Control.
What many people like a lot about the new design of the 2011 Mustang are its strong lines. The exterior, overall, is very nice and with stainless steel exhausts, halogen headlamps, LED Sequential Tail Lamps – another favorite – and solar tinted glass, the 2011 Ford Mustang looks as sweet as it rides.
